The display and touch digitizer are separate components. Your screen can show content perfectly while the touch layer is completely non-functional. This requires either digitizer replacement or, if it's a logic board touch IC issue, micro-soldering repair. We'll diagnose which repair you need.
Sometimes yes, if it's a loose connection or touch IC problem on the logic board. However, if the digitizer itself is damaged (often from drops or pressure), screen replacement is necessary. We'll always try the least invasive repair first to save you money.
